2019: the vintage of the decade for Darioush Signature Cabernet Sauvignon. In its evolution, Director of Winemaking Hope Goldie has brought further refinement, concentration and freshness to the estate’s flagship wine, without sacrificing any of the substance and pleasure of previous vintages. Mount Veeder features prominently in the aromatic complexity and structure of the wine—seamless and sleek, with cocoa, black tea, espresso, flint, and sage all contributing layers of complexity wrapped around a dense, youthful core of cassis and dark brambly fruit. With an hour of decanting or a few years of cellaring, this wine will reward both collectors and enthusiasts.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon offers more plum and cassis fruits as well as scorched earth, camphor, and chocolate aromatics. Rich, full-bodied, and mouth-filling, it has ripe, polished tannins, terrific overall balance, and a great finish.

A ripe, lush style, with waves of warmed plum sauce, cassis, Christmas pudding and melted black licorice rolling through, inlaid with singed tobacco, menthol and loam hints along the way. For fans of the big style. Drink now through 2032.
