Domaine la Bonneliere Description

This charming, well balanced 2020 Cabernet Franc comes from sustainably farmed 20-year-old vines in the wine region of AOC Saumur-Champigny in Loire Valley, France.  Saumur-Champigny wines are predominantly Cabernet Franc, with a permitted addition of up to 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and/or a rare local grape called Pineau d'Aunis.  Red wines from this region are usually light and bright with vibrant fruit and earthy flavors, making them easy to pair with many different foods.  

Tasting Notes:
This is textbook Cabernet Franc with dark cherry and plum fruit that melds nicely with tobacco and savory accents.  Minerality and forest floor runs throughout this balanced, fresh red.  Pair it with Alpine Cheese and cured meats
