Baron-Fuenté Description

60% Meunier, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir. First fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine goes through full malolactic fermentation. After the second fermentation in bottle, the wine is aged on the lees for 3 years before dégorgement. Assemblage of 2011 (60%), 2010 (30%) and 2009 (10%). Dosage 9 g/l. An elegant Champagne that shows fine balance and texture, supporting a subtle range of peach, blanched almond, biscuit, mineral and light spice. 40,000 cases made.
