LaLuca’s Valdobbiadene Brut Prosecco Superiore hails from the steep, sunlit hillsides of Valdobbiadene in Italy’s Veneto region—an area recognized as the historic heart of Prosecco production and awarded DOCG status for its quality. Made from the Glera grape, this sparkling wine is crafted in the Charmat method, which emphasizes freshness, purity of fruit, and fine bubbles. In the glass, it shines a pale straw yellow with a persistent perlage and a creamy mousse.
The bouquet is vibrant and inviting, bursting with aromas of white peach, crisp green apple, and pear, accented by citrus zest, acacia blossom, and a hint of almond. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with flavors of ripe orchard fruit, lemon peel, and a touch of honey, balanced by brisk acidity and a light mineral edge. The mouthfeel is elegant and polished, with fine bubbles lending a silky texture. The finish is clean, refreshing, and gently lingering, marked by citrus and floral notes.
LaLuca was founded with the idea of capturing both tradition and approachability in Prosecco. This Brut Superiore style, with its drier profile, highlights the elegance of Valdobbiadene fruit while remaining versatile for any occasion. The 11% alcohol and crisp structure make it ideal as an aperitif, but it also pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, light pastas, sushi, and prosciutto-wrapped melon. Its balance of vibrancy and refinement also makes it a perfect choice for celebratory toasts.
