Graach Kingdom of Heaven

The Graacher Himmelreich (Graacher heaven) can be found high up on the slope above Graach and is classified by the VDP as a Große Lage. In many areas not quite as steep as the Graacher Domprobst, the locations do not differ much. Because of the topography, the Himmelreich is microclimatically favored. The vineyards are very sheltered from wind and frost, with optimal exposure to the sun.

The ground is very deep and crossed by water veins. A high proportion of clay minerals paired with the profundity produces very strong and broad-shouldered wines, which also bring a high minerality with graceful elegance.

Since most of our vineyards are located in the Graacher sites, the spectrum of our wines ranges from racy dry to golden-yellow Trockenbeerenauslese. Convince yourself of the top class of the site.
