The Loxarel cellar was born from the vocation and innovative spirit of Josep Mitjans who, at just 16 years old, made his first 1,000 bottles of sparkling wine, breaking the tradition of bulk production on the estate. That was in 1985. After four generations of contact with vineyards and the land, the moment had arrived to take a step further in the process of elaboration. Mitjans studied as an enologist and took up the challenge of managing the conversion of the business from the family vineyards.

Méthode Traditionnelle. Disgorged after a minimum of 15 months of ageing in the cellar. Vineyards from the Can Mayol State, at 250m above sea level. 

Nose: It stands out its freshness. It’s fruity with reminiscences of water pear, apple and citrus fruits. Pleasant toasted bread and dried floral notes.

Palate: Fresh and light, with a good acidity. Salinity, memories of the sea, well integrated and with a good aromatic expression.
